We spent just one night in this historical place and found ourselves a little hungry. As always, reviews helped guide our decision — and they led my partner and me to this truly wonderful restaurant. Loved the experience at Ad Maiora, from the moment I stepped through the door till we stepped out. The manager was very alert and single handedly served the room full of customers. Food was lovely - I did deduct a star coz of my plating of my main and dessert. And I realized the plating was different from other guests which looked better - maybe someone more junior did my dish. Otherwise, the taste was pretty much on point. Highly recommend to try the desserts as I felt that they made extra effort to create an artistic dish - I was eyeing every pretty dessert at other tables.

Absolutely amazing! This restaurant deserves to be in the Michelin guide: food was amazing, well crafted tasting experience from the beginning until the end. Service was great as well. This place is a must and we will come back for sure!

We had a tasting menu and I was very happy as all the dishes I fancied on the menu were part of the surprise menu! It already started with an amazing greeting from chef, a parmesan ball with sriracha, not something I would naturally combine but great taste. Followed by scallops and pancetta, then we had ‘noodles’ of squid, an amazing fish dish and a dessert of coconut cream with pineapple. All accompanied by wine for a very fair price! (55 euro for the 4 course tasting menu and 25 euro for the wine accompaniment! It was a great evening with a lot of tasting surprises!

Visiting the restaurant for the “chef’s table” with my boyfriend was a delightful experience. We were treated exceptionally, and the food was simply divine. The Chef’s warmth and willingness to answer our many questions, especially mine, made the evening even more enjoyable. Watching the food preparation and inhaling the beautiful blend of flavors was a sensory delight. We truly savored the moment, the food, the atmosphere, and most importantly, each other. Being present made it a remarkable experience overall!

Great food with originality, character. Great service. If I had more time I would come over for sure one or more times to discover the menu better. And a big plus, the prices are great for the quality standards.

Nice atmosphere. Good service. English menu available. Interesting and tasty amuse-bouche. Bread is good too. Nice and creative display. Prefer the pork cheek among the starter and main dish.

Very good restaurant, the location has some limits (some smell of kitchen) but the team does it at best and the proposal is really very good.
